WHO WE ARE?

We are Marika and Jirka Kuč, lovers of good food and everything related to it. It is because of this that we started writing the Kitchen story blog a few years ago and also founded the e-shop Husbands in the Kitchen. We believe that good food and drink come together, and we wanted to create a space where everyone could enjoy peace without unnecessary hustle and bustle. Just a place where time has kind of stopped. That's why the Cottage between Cellars project was created.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS DOCUMENT?

It is important that we are clear from the start. So that you know what you are entitled to and what we are entitled to. And so that nothing surprises any of us during your reservation and subsequent stay at Chalupa between the cellars.  

 

WHAT DO WE PROVIDE?

We will be happy if you spend a nice time with us to recharge your batteries. In order for you to have a good rest with us, we have set the minimum number of nights at 2, the maximum length of stay is unlimited. 

 

In case you want to gift a stay with us to your loved ones, we have prepared a voucher for you. You can order it online, but we are happy to send it to you physically by post. 

 

WHO IS OUR ACCOMMODATION FOR?

The age limit is unlimited, whether you want to come with your friends or with your whole family, children or grandmothers, you are warmly welcome. We have one travel cot ready for the little ones, bigger children can sleep on several extra beds.

 

Just let us know in advance what you will need so that we can prepare everything for you, so you don't have to worry about anything. 

 

WHAT ABOUT PETS?

Please leave pets at home. Our cottage is not properly equipped and adapted for them.

 

WHAT IS THE PRICE FOR ACCOMMODATION AND OTHER SERVICES?

You can find the price for all our services on the website. The specific amount per night is always for the entire object. It doesn't matter if you come to the cottage with 4 or 10 people, you always pay the same. For our guests, the price is always binding, which is stated in the confirmation email that you always receive after sending the reservation on the website. The amount must be paid in full in advance. It already includes the recreation fee, which we pay to the municipality for you, final cleaning and used wood for the stove. 

 

WHAT IF YOU WANT TO CANCEL YOUR BOOKED STAY?

If you have changed your mind about your stay with us or something has simply occurred to you, you can cancel your reservation at any time before arrival, but you must expect any cancellation fees. Cancellation of stay requires a written electronic form to the address chalupamezisklepy@gmail.com. We will send you a cancellation confirmation within 3 days of receiving your email. 

WHAT ARE THE CANCELLATION FEES FOR CANCELING THE STAY?

If you notify us of the cancellation within 10 days before the start of your stay, there will be no fees and we will send the money back to your account. Alternatively, together we will choose another alternative date of stay that will suit you better.

 

However, if you want to cancel your reservation less than 10 days before the start of your stay, this means forfeiting 30% of the amount paid. We will send the rest back to your account.

 

If the reservation is canceled later than 3 days before the start of the stay, 100% of the paid amount is forfeited.

 

CAN WE CANCEL YOUR STAY?

Why would we do that? Nevertheless, it can happen that, for example, something goes wrong at the cottage and it needs to be repaired, so we have no choice but to cancel your stay with great regret. We promise that this will only happen for particularly serious reasons. Of course, the paid amount and our apology will be sent to your account within 3 working days at the latest.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO STAY WITH US AND MAKE A DONATION?

In that case, we have prepared gift vouchers for you that will make your loved ones happy. We can send you gift vouchers by post or online if you happen to be running out of time and need a gift at the last minute. Simply choose the amount of the voucher yourself. Each gift voucher will have its own unique code and can only be used once. Just send the last 4 numbers/letters of the code and we'll take care of the rest. 

 

To book a stay using a voucher, just send its code to an email atchalupamezisklepy@gmail.com, choose a date from the booking calendar and we will book it for you. Each voucher is valid for a maximum of one year. 

IS THE VOUCHER REFUNDABLE?

Yes, that possibility is really here. If you change your mind within 14 days of purchasing it, you can return it to us. In this case, we will return the voucher amount in full to your account. Just send the cancellation with the voucher number to the emailchalupamezisklepy@gmail.comand we'll take care of the rest.

 

HOW TO BEHAVE AT THE COTTAGE?

We will be happy if you make yourself at home at the cottage. Just note that the entire area of the cottage is non-smoking and we ask that you respect that. If you accidentally break something, be sure to let us know immediately. We would have to deal with this situation for the sake of other guests. In the event of greater damage, we would require adequate compensation from you.

 

You are at your own risk in Chalupa between the cellars and the adjacent property and we bear no responsibility for you. 

CAN YOU CONTACT US IN CASE OF NEED?

We would like you to turn to us whenever you need it. Either to the email chalupamezisklepy@gmail.com or to the phone number 776645148. Write, call or use WhatsApp, we will try to be always available. 

 

However, the law requires us to inform you about the out-of-court settlement of possible disputes, so we do so knowing that our guest will certainly never use it:

a) In relation to the buyer, we are not bound by any codes of conduct in the sense of the provisions of § 1826 paragraph 1 letter e) of the Civil Code.

b) We handle consumer complaints via the electronic address chalupamezisklepy@gmail.com. We will send information about handling the complaint to the buyer's email address. 

c) Out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes arising from the Agreement is the responsibility of the Czech Trade Inspection, with registered office at Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, ID number: 000 20 869, internet address:http://www.coi.cz. The online dispute resolution platform located at the Internet addresshttp://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odrcan be used to resolve disputes between the seller and the buyer, who is a consumer, from a purchase contract concluded by electronic means. 

d) European Consumer Center Czech Republic, with registered office at Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, internet address:http://www.evropskyspotrebitel.czis a point of contact according to Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013 of the European Parliament and Council of 21 May 2013 on online consumer dispute resolution and amending Regulation (EC) No. 2006/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC ( regulation on the resolution of consumer disputes online).

 

AND SOMETHING IN CONCLUSION

These terms and conditions are and will be an integral part of the voucher order or accommodation reservation in our Chalet between cellars. We believe that you will enjoy it with us and will be happy to come back to us.
